Who We Are
Offek (Hebrew for "horizon") was founded on a simple belief: the bond between humans and animals can change lives — and the people who facilitate that bond deserve world-class professional training.
For years, Israel had no dedicated institution for training therapeutic riding instructors, therapy-dog practitioners, and animal-assisted therapists to a true professional standard. Offek Center was created to fill that gap. Today, we are the country's leading multidisciplinary school in the field, offering roughly twenty educational tracks across four areas: horses, dogs, therapy, and youth programs.
Our curricula draw on American and European training models, and our certifications carry international recognition, including from the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). Every program is taught by working professionals who run established organizations in their fields — so what our students learn reflects what the field actually demands.
What We Do
We train the next generation of practitioners in four core areas:
Therapy & Support
Animal-assisted therapy, trauma recovery facilitation, parental coaching, and specialized training for working with children on the autism spectrum.
Canine Programs
Professional dog training, behavior modification, therapy-dog work, and service dog training for people with disabilities.
Equine Programs
Therapeutic riding instruction, horse training, therapeutic horsework, and Western horsemanship — taught to the highest international certification standards.
Youth Programs
Specialized tracks and certifications for teens and high school students discovering a calling in animal-assisted work.

Our Founder
Offek Center is led by Omri Livny, one of Israel's foremost experts in developing professional training programs in the animal-assisted field.
With more than fifteen years of experience, Omri has trained hundreds of dog trainers, riding instructors, and therapeutic specialists across Israel. He previously directed Israel's national certification programs for equestrian coaching — the highest credentialing level in riding instruction — and built Offek to bring that same rigor to every discipline the center teaches.
